Mother of George (2013) – dir. Andrew Dosunmu // Nigeria

If you haven’t seen this, go and check it out. It’s shot beautifully and the story, though based in Brooklyn U.S.A is 100% African and speaks about issues that relate directly to African women, who to this day still with the pressures of having to fulfill marital duties, some of which are not under their control.

And the Art Dept in this film really put in some great work, shout out to the stylist. On point!!

Shoutout to Nigerian Director Andrew Dosunmu. I am inspired!
